Coils play a critical role in vaping devices as they are responsible for heating the e-liquid and transforming it into the vapor that you inhale. Made up of a resistive wire wrapped around a wick, coils are activated when the battery sends a current through the wire. The wire then heats up and vaporizes the e-liquid on the wick.
